The R-Pipe is a stand alone GPRS modem which can be connected to a serial device such as a data logger, PLC or any unit with serial communications to provide a GPRS wireless connection over the internet. The software provided creates a virtual com port on the host PC, which then connects via the internet and GPRS to the remote device attached to the R-Pipe.
